Is MrBeast in trouble? YouTuber releases worldwide challenge excluding Crimea from Ukraine, fans say 'fix this immediately'

GREENVILLE, CALIFORNIA: Jimmy Donalson aka MrBeast, a prominent YouTuber boasting over 177 million followers, is well-recognized for his philanthropic endeavors and unwavering dedication to meeting the demands of his fan base.

In a recent YouTube event, he hosted a global challenge, inviting participants to join his livestream from every country.

During the event, he provided instructions on how to play the games, and after the first round concluded, he presented a map illustrating the countries that had achieved victory.

This revelation sparked controversy among MrBeast's fans and many Twitter users, as some argued that he had omitted Crimea and included Ukraine on the map, implying that Crimea was not depicted as part of Ukraine.

This depiction stirred significant online discourse, with the image rapidly spreading across various social media platforms. This controversy has put MrBeast in a challenging situation.

MrBeast finds himself in trouble for excluding Crimea

In his recent YouTube video titled 'Every Country on Earth Fights for $250k', MrBeast organized a unique competition where he engaged participants from every nation, explaining the rules and regulations.

After uploading the video to his own YouTube channel, MrBeast found himself at the center of controversy, facing accusations of displaying a world map that did not include Crimea as part of Ukraine.

In the video, MrBeast orchestrated a series of competitions to determine the champion from among the 195 participating countries, who would be awarded a gold medal.

However, a specific frame from the video, which displayed the eliminated states after each round, depicted Ukraine – the first country to exit the competition – in red, but Crimea was not shaded as part of Ukraine.

This decision has ignited a heated online debate. For those unfamiliar, Crimea was annexed by Russia in 2014, leading to a conflict with Ukraine, which began with an illegal invasion in February of the following year.

Consequently, some Twitter users accused MrBeast of omitting Crimea from the map, triggering controversy. One Twitter user posted, "YouTuber @MrBeast has released a video that excludes the territory of #Ukraine without #Crimea."

This tweet gained significant traction on the internet, with calls for MrBeast to rectify the situation promptly.

Twitter users ask MrBeast 'fix this immediately'

After reading te tweet on Twitter many of MrBeast's fans started sharing their perspectives.

One fan said, "Well maybe I'm colourblind but there is a marking on the Crimea. It's just the outlines are so bright and the area small that it makes the colour barely visable."

Another fan wrote, "for some reason the infographic flies someone out from Svalbard to make it even more confusing"

The third fan said, "They say a million monkeys pounding away on a keyboard will eventually write the works of Shakespeare. Mr. Beast should have used them instead of his current scriptwriter."

The fourth user said, "He needs to fix this immediately! This is unacceptable!!" The last user said, "Not the only geography mistake, but the worst. Svalbard is out, Norway is in. Denmark is in, Greenland is out. And the list goes on.."
