LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Following the news that Jennifer Garner would be reprising her role as Elektra in 'Deadpool 3', there has been much speculation about whether Ben Affleck and Garner might be working together again. Meanwhile, Affleck's singer-wife Jennifer Lopez was reportedly disturbed by the notion that her husband might share screen time with his ex-wife. Although Affleck's return to his Daredevil character, which he portrayed opposite Garner's Elektra in the 2003 'Daredevil', has not yet been confirmed, JLo is already on high alert.
Affleck has a reputation for being quite chaotic, and not just because of his personal life or his co-parenting duties with his ex-wife Garner. Affleck was married to Garner from 2005 to 2018. In 2021, he married Lopez in a modest, private ceremony. JLo is known for having a strong personality and a few traits that not all of her admirers really adore. And it turns out that despite Affleck's willingness to stick by her, Lopez has a lot of strict rules for Affleck in their marriage.

According to The Mirror, the 'Hustlers' star, 53, has established some ground rules for Ben Affleck were he to film scenes with his ex-wife Garner, who is in 'Deadpool 3'. A source revealed, "J.Lo already has a list of rules for when Ben's working, but she'll be adding a few more should he go ahead and film a cameo alongside Jen." The insider further added: "Elektra is Daredevil's love interest, so she's making sure there are no 'just like old times' moments between them."
Although Garner and John Miller have been together for a while, it was also stated that the 'Hustlers' star was not taking any risks. According to the source's statement to Woman's Day, "J.Lo wants 24/7 access to the set and to be able to drop in unannounced. There are to be no promo joint interviews and or photoshoots, and no after-work socializing. She wants Ben home as soon as he's done filming."

Despite his retirement from the role in 'Logan', Hugh Jackman's likely return as Wolverine has added to the anticipation for 'Deadpool 3', which has been growing gradually. The upcoming Marvel movie appears to be going above and beyond expectations, though. Though the 2003 'Daredevil' bombed miserably at the box office, Affleck and Garner's chemistry was undeniable. Fans are hoping the two characters will share the screen once again.
According to the Twitter account 'One Take News', Ben Affleck is rumored to appear the latest 'Deadpool' film, most probably reprising his role as Matt Murdock. Given the likelihood that Affleck might just happen to be in the UK and visit the 'Deadpool 3' production, it wouldn't be shocking if his interpretation of Daredevil ran into the "Merc with a Mouth". Affleck's Daredevil, a hero from the Fox-era movie, looks conceivable given the speculations of the likely involvement of other legendary characters from the original 'X-Men' trilogy from the 'Fantastic Four' (2005) film.
