How did Sage Stallone die?

The cause of his death was determined to be a heart attack induced by coronary artery disease caused by atherosclerosis. According to the toxicology tests, they no evidence of any drugs in his system except for some normal over-the-counter pain remedy, but it was revealed that he was a regular smoker and smoked almost two to three packs of hard cigarettes in a day.
According to his friend Stephen Wozniak, Sage had been going through a tough time and increasingly isolating himself from others as he suffered some pressure to be in the shadow of his famous father. "He was private and guarded. I'm certain he did spend time alone for weeks," Wozniak stated. "Sage was not in the best of health and I think he felt the pressure. He wanted to make his dad proud. He felt the need to deliver rather than develop," he told The Sun.

He also thanked Sage's mother who he divorced in the year 1985. "Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son, Sage Stallone. His loss will be felt forever," said a statement issued by his publicist Michelle Bega.
Sylvester performs 'shraadh' for son at Haridwar
Sylvester recently visited the holy city of Haridwar in India to perform the "shraadh" ceremony for his late son Sage. The ceremony is a Hindu ritual performed for the peaceful departure of the soul. Stallone was accompanied by his wife Jennifer Flavin and other family members. Stallone was advised by Indian astrologer Prateek Mishrapuri to perform the shradh.
Mishrapuri revealed in an interview with an Indian media agency that Stallone had expressed a desire to speak to his late son via soul channeling during their meeting in LA. Stallone confessed that he saw Sage's spirit therefore, Mishrapuri advised against it as it would be painful for Sage's soul. "In our meeting last year in LA, he (Stallone) asked if it is possible to speak to his son. I told him it is possible, but it would be very painful for Sage’s soul. He confessed that he had seen his son and that he was deeply disturbed," Mishrapuri said.
Stallone's visit to Haridwar and his participation in the holy ceremony are reminders of the actor's deep love and connection to his late son.
