Andrew Tate supports Russell Brand as comedian denies ‘very serious allegations’
Andrew Tate has sent a message of support to Russell Brand after the comedian denied “very serious allegations” made against him in a recent YouTube video. The self-proclaimed misogynist and controversial influencer responded after Brand posted a clip telling viewers he "absolutely refute[s]" the allegations made towards him ahead of two media outlets apparently planning to reveal claims later today (September 16). Brand also said in the clip that while he was "very promiscuous" in the past, the relationships were "always consensual". Brand said in the clip: "Now, this isn't the usual type of video we make on this channel where we critique, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption because in this story, I am the news." He went on to say that he has received "two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email". One allegedly coming from a "mainstream media TV company" and the other "from a newspaper". He went on to describe the allegations put against him as "extremely egregious and aggressive attacks". Tate posted an image of a knight preparing for battle with the caption: “On my way to fight the crazy b**** allegations.” He added the words “Welcome to the club” before tagging Brand. Tate also responded to the video posted by Brand, calling it a “Matrix attack”. Tate, is currently charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women. He will stand trial on these charges in Romania. Danny Masterson’s eerie Conan interview resurfaces after ‘That 70’s Show’ star gets 30-year sentence - latest
Danny Masterson, star of That ’70s Show, has been sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for the rapes of two women two decades ago. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo handed down the sentence to the 47-year-old actor after ruling on a defence motion for a new trial that she rejected, and having heard impact statements from the victims. A jury of seven women and five men found Masterson guilty of two counts on 31 May after seven days of deliberations. Both attacks took place in Masterson’s Hollywood Hills home in 2003, when he was at the height of his fame on the Fox network sitcom. The jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on a third count, an allegation that Masterson also raped a longtime girlfriend. The verdict came in a second trial after a jury failed to reach verdicts on three counts of forcible rape in December 2022 and a mistrial was declared. Prosecutors alleged that Masterson used his prominence in the Church of Scientology — where all three women were also members at the time — to avoid consequences for decades after the attacks. The famous “Chalkboard Mom” revealed her daughter 11 years later
The viral "Chalkboard Mom" from 2012 has come back with an update on her daughter Laikynn, and social media is loving it. McKinli Hatch had the now famous photo to her blog Mommy's Little Sunshine over ten years ago, whilst she was pregnant with her daughter. The photo shows Hatch standing next to a chalkboard that lists the potential names for her daughter: Taylee, McKarty, Nayvie, and Maylee, all crossed out, with the circled "Lakynn" at the bottom. Hatch's unique name choice has ingrained herself, and her daughter, into internet culture, and 11 years later, we've been given an update. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Hatch posted a video of her and Laikynn at the beach with the caption "throw back to my first viral photo". The text overlay in the video reads: "The people realise you are the 'Chalk Board Mom' and Laikynn is now 11 years old." Viewers seemingly loved the throwback as the jokes about Hatch's choice of spelling resurfaced a decade later. @mckinli Throw back to my first viral photo ? "I named my daughter Mcieckaealeighphla (pronounced like Lauren) because of you," one viewer joked. "My daughter is Saighlaur (pronounced Mary of course) so I completely get it!" Many said that Hatch was "iconic" for bringing us back for an update. The TikTok even made its way over to Twitter, with many feeling nostalgic for the original meme: Some also noticed that Laikynn's name is spelled with an extra 'I' than the original name: But one user explained the reason behind the extra 'i': The original blog has seemingly been inactive since 2016, but Hatch has since grown a sizeable following on TikTok, posting fashion content as well as documenting her experience as a single mum.
