The manhunt for convicted killer Danelo Cavalcante continues, with details beginning to emerge about how he managed to escape from Chester County Prison in Pennsylvania. Cavalcante, 34, was spotted twice in the search area near the prison on Friday, according to police. He was seen again late on Saturday. The convict escaped from the facility days after he was sentenced to life without parole for stabbing his ex-girlfriend Deborah Brandao, 33, to death. He is also wanted for a 2017 murder in Brazil. Video of the escape shows Cavalcante crawling up a wall at the prison. He then pushed through razor wire and gained access to the roof before jumping down and fleeing the facility. A tower officer tasked with observing the site failed to report the incident and Cavalcante’s escape was only noticed during a head count. Johnny Somali, the controversial Kick streamer known for harassing locals in Japan, was confronted by an American who was tired of Somali’s behaviour. The streamer is currently staying in Japan and often receives criticism for his provoking behaviour towards locals. Earlier in the year, Somali was condemned after being witnessed making racist remarks to passengers onboard a subway train in Japan. He ranted about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and suggested he would drop atomic bombs on the Japanese cities again. He shouted that America would “destroy” Japan again because “you don’t know how to behave”. As a result of his offensive behaviour, Somali has been confronted multiple times by locals during his live streams. Somali attempted to explain himself by saying he’s a “troll”. “My wife is Japanese,” the American said. “You go there and insult people like that. Do you know how many people died from Hiroshima, and you’re joking about that s***?” The streamer said that he was drunk during that incident and that he’d apologised, but the American didn’t stop there and the confrontation continued. “All these families suffered, people suggested because of that. You’re on the train harassing people like that… don’t do it again, bro. I’ve seen how people in Tokyo whoop your a**. You’re lucky I don’t do the same.” “Is that a threat?” Somali responded. “It is, yes,” replied the American. “Because you go around harassing people like that - innocent people who didn’t do anything, Japanese people… and you’re out here f***ing with them like that. One of Jordan Henderson’s former Premier League stars has questioned whether his support for LGBT+ rights was “genuine” after he left Liverpool for Saudi Arabia. Thomas Hitzlsperger, the highest profile professional footballer to come out as gay in 2013, expressed his disappointment at Henderson’s decision to join Al Ettifaq in a £12m deal. Same-sex relationships are illegal in Saudi Arabia, while the gender expression of trans people is also criminalised. Sentences include a maximum penalty of death. Hitzlsperger, who played for Aston Villa, West Ham and Everton, as well as gaining 55 caps for Germany, is one of several in the footballing world to slam Henderson for moving to a Saudi club, which many see as tacit acceptance of the kingdom’s stance on LGBT+ rights. Liverpool LGBT+ fan group Kop Outs joined the chorus of disapproval after Henderson announced the deal. The organisation tweeted that when Henderson met Paul Amann, founder of Kop Outs, in August 2021, Jordan “said if there's ever anything I can do to help, just ask”. “So the ask is to stand by your words as a professed ally & champion of #LGBT+ rights, of women's rights and of basic human dignity. Don't go to Saudi.” Nonetheless, Henderson looks unlikely to be the last Premier League footballer to move to Saudi Arabia, after huge investment from the kingdom in sports such as football and golf as part of a move to burnish its previously faltering global reputation. Cristiano Ronaldo started the influx at the start of the year. Henderson is joining state-owned Al-Ettifaq, the club managed by his former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. The 33-year-old had initially rebuffed the approach but it seems it was too lucrative to turn down, with reports he will triple his current £200,000-a-week salary.
