Ukraine released footage on Saturday (16 September) of troops moving through a war-ravaged settlement in the Donetsk Oblast after Kyiv announced its recapture. Video published by Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade showed troops moving through rubble in Andriivka, 6 miles (10km) south of the Russian-occupied city of Bakhmut after three months of intense fighting. The clip also shows soldiers taking cover behind a broken wall amid mortar fire. It comes after Ukraine announced a tactical victory in the southern Zaporizhzhia region, taking back the village of Robotyne in late August.

Almost one year to the day after suffering a knee injury at the O2 Arena – just 15 seconds into a bout with Curtis Blaydes – Aspinall returned to the venue for another main event. And this one played out as differently as the Wigan heavyweight would have hoped, with Aspinall securing a TKO at 1:13 of the first round. Aspinall, 30, hurt Tybura early with a head kick but resisted getting carried away, instead biding his time – briefly, at least – before dropping the Pole with a straight right hand. Aspinall then pounced with grounds strikes, forcing the stoppage to get back to winning ways. Liverpool have agreed a British record transfer fee of £110million for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to reports. The 21-year-old Ecuador international has been a target for Chelsea all summer but Brighton have held firm in their valuation. Now the Reds appear to have stepped in and hijacked the deal to complete their midfield rebuild following the departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho. Should he complete the move, Caicedo will be reunited with Alexis Mac Allister, the Argentinian World Cup winner who left the Seagulls for Anfield in June. The reported fee would eclipse the previous British record fee of £107m that Chelsea paid for Enzo Fernandez in January. It would also represent another massive profit for Brighton, who signed Caicedo from Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle for £4m in 2021.
