Taylor Swift is known for dropping musical Easter eggs, and with the release of 1989 (Taylor's Version) on the horizon, a new Google game has appeared where fans can unlock the album vault track titles and features. In a post to Instagram, the pop star shared a clip of the 1989 blue and seagull-themed vault, where the vault opened to reveal different letter flying letters - a similar rollout to her previous re-recordings Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version) back in 2021. "You can tell me when the *search* is over… if the high was worth the pain," the caption read, referring to the commencement of "the search," as well as lyrically referencing the 1989 hit song Blank Space. If you Google 'Taylor Swift' now, a graphic of a blue vault sitting in the sand will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the search results. Once clicked on, a series of jumbled letters appear on the screen in different colours along with a hint at the bottom to help fans figure out the word. Altogether there are 89 puzzles to solve in total but Swifties need to collectively solve a whopping 33m (Swift is 33 years old) puzzles globally to unlock the vault, and the fandom has made it their mission to complete the challenge. At the time of writing, over 27.2m puzzles have been solved. After quickly realising the mission, the Google page was inundated with Swifties desperately to join in - so much so that they "jammed" the vault due to demand with the search engine providing an update. (With some Swift-based lyrical puns, of course). Since then it looks like the vault is working as fans get closer to cracking it open... A former Apple engineer who fled to China five years ago has been charged with stealing the company’s self-driving car technology. The US Justice Department charged Weibao Wang, 35, for stealing large troves of data from Apple, including trade secrets and technology related to autonomous systems that are used to design self-driving cars. Mr Wang was charged with six counts of theft or attempted theft of trade secrets, according to a press release issued by the department. “Innovation is alive and well in Silicon Valley – indeed, throughout the Northern District of California,” said US attorney Ismail J Ramsey. “Unfortunately, there will always be some who cheat the system by stealing and profiting from the fruits of others’ labour. The Wang prosecution is but one example. We are pleased that the Disruptive Technology Task Force renews energy and focus on securing innovation for those who actually create it.” The former Apple engineer was a resident of Mountain View in California and began working with the tech giant in 2016. He had signed a confidentiality agreement for the project for which he was working on, and very few people at the company knew about it at that time. He began working as staff engineer with the US-based subsidiary of a Chinese company and was working to develop self-driving cars, the indictment said. The company was identified only as “Company One” in the indictment. Mr Wang was also accused of waiting for more than four months before telling Apple that he was resigning, after he signed a new employment agreement with “Company One”. After the last day of his employment at Apple, on 16 April 2018, Apple’s officials found in their logs that he had accessed large troves of confidential data in the final days of his stint at the tech giant. His Mountain View home was searched on 27 June 2018. Law enforcement agents discovered “large quantities of data taken from Apple prior to his departure” during the search, for which Mr Wang was present. After telling the agents that he had no plans to travel, he purchased a one-way ticket to Guangzhou, China, and boarded a flight that same night. In a press conference, Mr Ramsey said Mr Wang remained in China and he could face 10 years in jail, if extradited and convicted. This is the third incident of a former Apple employee being charged for stealing of documents for China. Two other Apple employees have previously been charged in similar cases involving theft of trade secrets, reported the BBC. Bruno Fernandes’ stunning volley secured absentee-hit Manchester United a much-needed victory as Burnley’s wait for a Premier League win continued. Injuries and off-field issues have been compounded by poor performances in some tough fixtures, with the Red Devils losing four of their opening six matches in all competitions for the first time since 1986. United ended a run of three successive defeats at Vincent Kompany’s Burnley, where Erik ten Hag’s team were not entirely convincing but ran out 1-0 victors thanks to Fernandes’ moment of magic on Saturday night. The Portugal midfielder showed exceptional composure and technique when providing a fitting finish to a brilliant pass from Jonny Evans, who was making his first start for the club since 2015. The 35-year-old recently rejoined the club and thought he had scored shortly before Fernandes’ goal, only for the VAR to intervene in a first half that Burnley had held their own in. Zeki Amdouni struck a post during the opening period and Kompany’s side threatened towards the end of the second half, but the Manchester City great was unable to celebrate a late equaliser. United made a bright start after making the short journey up the M66, with Marcus Rashford striking into the side-netting and Fernandes forcing an early stop from James Trafford. “We want Glazers out” bellowed the away end as Burnley fans attempted to unsettle visiting goalkeeper Andre Onana days on from his costly clanger at Bayern Munich. The summer signing soon quietened those goading him, reacting well to stop Amdouni’s goalbound header into the ground from a Connor Roberts cross. Burnley were growing in confidence and ambition, nearly going ahead in the 17th minute when Aaron Ramsey slipped in Amdouni to hit a strike off the far post. Many inside Turf Moor had expected the net to bulge – something the majority were disappointed to see when it did in the 25th minute. Sergio Reguilon swung in a cross from the right that Evans was able to meet with a header past Trafford from four yards. The defender was mobbed but his celebrations were short-lived as the VAR ruled Rasmus Hojlund had interfered with play from an offside position. Burnley settled after that scare as lively Luca Koleosho mishit wide and Ramsey called Onana into action, only to go behind on the stroke of half-time. Evans took the ball and showed fantastic vision to clip a diagonal, left-footed pass from just outside the centre circle in Burnley’s half over to Fernandes behind. The United skipper tracked the ball over his shoulder and hit a perfect volley across Trafford from the right-hand side of the six-yard box to stun Turf Moor. Unfortunately for the neutral that moment of quality did not take the game up a level. There was a sharp intake of breath after Diogo Dalot’s lasered cross just evaded Hojlund, with Ameen Al Dakhil soon getting back just in time to stop the striker connecting with a Rashford header. Scott McTominay’s hopeful effort was easily stopped as the game petered out, with Burnley making a triple change in search of an equaliser. Two of those introductions were soon involved, with Onana rushing out to stop Jacob Bruun Larsen following a heavy touch before Jay Rodriguez and Evans collided following up. Sander Berge was the other alteration and directed narrowly over from an 82nd-minute corner, with Rodriguez blocked out by fellow substitute Raphael Varane soon after. Rashford and Hojlund saw efforts blocked before an acrobatic Fernandes attempt was saved in stoppage time as United won and kept a first clean sheet since beating Wolves in their opener. The final whistle went straight after substitute Manuel Benson’s hopeful effort was gobbled up. It's safe to say that Tottenham Hotspur aren't missing Harry Kane since he left for Bayern Munich in the summer but that doesn't mean their former striker isn't having a great time in Germany. The England captain scored a hat-trick in Bayern's 8-0 thrashing of Darmstadt in the Bundesliga on Saturday including a spectacular goal from inside his own half. The score was already 4-0 at the time but Kane showed no mercy as he launched a long-range shot from the centre circle seeing Darmstadt's goalkeeper Marcel Schuhen off of his line in spectacular fashion on 69 minutes. Nice. It was just Kane's second goal of the game and he later completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute. Other goalscorers for the German giants were Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala who both scored two, Joshua Kimmich and Bayern legend Thomas Muller. Kane has now scored 11 goals in just 12 games for Bayern who are top of the German Bundesliga at the time of writing. Meanwhile, Kane's former club, Tottenham are flying high in the Premier League and currently sitting at the summit of the English top flight after an impressive start under new coach Ange Postecoglou who is yet to taste defeat in the league with the North London side. Spurs extended their lead at the top of the league on Friday when they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 away at Selhurst Park.
