Ukraine-Russia war – live: Putin’s forces face shortage of tanks as Kyiv’s counteroffensive creeps forward
Russian forces are suffering a shortage of tanks, the nations’s defence minister has admitted during a visit a military factory in western Siberia. Sergei Shoigu has called for more tanks to be manufactured "to meet the needs of Russian forces" in Ukraine, with Kyiv having launched a counteroffensive involving Western tanks and weapons. Mr Shoigu said there was a need "to maintain the increased production of tanks" and better security features in armored vehicles, the Defense Ministry said in a statement about the visit. John Fury is claiming he’ll ‘ruin KSI’s career’ if he doesn't pay Tommy Fury bet
John Fury is claiming he’ll ‘ruin KSI’s career’ if he doesn't pay Tommy Fury bet
Tommy Fury may have won his fight against KSI earlier this month, but his dad John Fury still isn’t happy. It’s all to do with a bet that KSI made, with the YouTuber-turned-boxer allegedly putting £200,000 on the line before the bout. The Tommy Fury vs KSI fight took place on October 14. A sold-out crowd at Manchester's AO Arena watched the pair go head-to-head in the highly anticipated match where Fury was declared the winner by majority decision. Following the match, KSI declared the result a "robbery" and said he is going to appeal the decision. "Robbery, it's a robbery bro," the YouTuber said. "How many jabs did he land? And he had a point taken off as well. You weren't landing. Look at your face, look at your eyes. Look at you… How do I lose a six-rounder? Unreal.” KSI is currently questioning the ruling and has sent an official appeal to governing body the PBA. However, the head of the Fury family has said that if he doesn’t pay the £200,000 he wagered on the fight, he will “ruin” KSI’s career. Speaking to IFL, Fury said: “He lost. He’s got to man up and pay because I will not let this go,” said John. “I’ll hound him to death. I’ll hound him to death. So there you go mate, pay up. You wanted to bet in the first place. Be a man.” He went on to say: “You were a sore loser when you got picked on the night. But you’re going to pay this money because I’ll never leave you alone. “I will ruin your career. I’m on you like a dog on a rabbit. So don’t worry about that. Pay up.” Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter How to join the indy100's free WhatsApp channel Have your say in our news democracy.
