Trump lashes out at ‘Fake’ Tapper after disgusted CNN host cuts away from arraigned ex-president meeting fans
Trump lashes out at ‘Fake’ Tapper after disgusted CNN host cuts away from arraigned ex-president meeting fans
Donald Trump lashed out at Jake Tapper after the CNN host ordered the news network’s control room to cut away from video of the ex-president with supporters after his criminal arraignment in Miami. Mr Trump made a quick stop at the famed Cuban restaurant Versailles on Tuesday after he left the federal courtroom where he pleaded not guilty to mishandling classified secret documents. Inside the Little Havana cafe, Mr Trump posed for pictures with supporters who sang “Happy Birthday” to the twice impeached Republican who will turn 77 on Wednesday. After CNN showed footage from inside the cafe, an annoyed Tapper clearly had enough and told producers not to do so again. “I don’t need to see any more of that. He’s trying to turn it into a spectacle and into a campaign ad. That is enough of that. We’ve seen it already,” he said live on air. Mr Trump took to Truth Social to lash out at the journalist and appeared to give him the new nickname of “Fake” Tapper. “Fake Tapper just demanded that his broadcast be closed down from Miami because there was far too much enthusiasm on the streets for ‘Trump.’ The good news is, he was the only one to do so, perhaps a good explanation as to why CNN’s ratings are so low!” he wrote on Truth Social. Mr Trump’s lawyers entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf when he appeared in court on Tuesday, becoming the first president in US history to be charged with federal crimes. The one-term president has been indicted by the Justice Department with 37 charges over his handling of classified documents after leaving the White House. Former first lady Melania Trump was a no-show at her husband’s arrest and arraignment on Tuesday – the second time that she has not been by his side in his criminal cases. Versailles started life as a small coffee shop in 1971 but became a cultural and political hot spot in Miami and a necessary stop for high-profile politicians visiting the city. Ukraine Russia – live: Wagner still in war near Bakhmut despite Putin’s ban and mutiny, says Pentagon
The Pentagon has said Russian mercenary Wagner Group is still in Ukraine despite pulling out of the war-hit nation and claiming to hand over control to Russian defence ministry fighters last month. “...on Wagner Group and its disposition, what I would tell you is, right now, we continue to see some elements of the Wagner Group in Russian-occupied territory in Ukraine,” Pentagon press secretary brigadier general Pat Ryder said. He added: “...they have been conducting operations in Ukraine for a while now. And so you know, most recently near Bakhmut, and so elements of those units are still in Ukraine.” He was answering a question in press briefing on a new home for Wagner Group in southern Belarus as per the satellite image from a former military base. Mutinous Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was told his mercenaries would no longer be fighting in Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine after he snubbed Russian defence ministry contracts for his fighters, a senior Moscow politician has said. This Tik-Tok-Viral Body Scrub Is Well Worth It — Grab It Before It Sells Out Again
If you’re a body-care stan (like we are), then I’m sure you’ve heard of the scrub king brand himself, Frank Body. Best known for its coffee scrub-in-a-bag, Frank Body is honest, clean, and likely popping up on a FYP near you. While I loved its popular coffee scrub, the messy aftermath was a major turn-off. That’s why when I heard that the brand’s new chemical exfoliator/scrub hybrid in tub packaging had gone viral on TikTok, I simply had to put it to the test — along with some other goodies like a cherry lip scrub and an AHA body lotion. Spoiler alert: I loved them all, and I not only know why the Glycolic Body Scrub has TikTok fame, but I also understand why it’s currently on pre-orders only (no worries, you can still add to cart, it’ll just be two weeks longer to ship). I suggest you keep on reading to see exactly why I think this scrub is well worth the wait — before it all sells out again.
