NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, which is owned by the Sazerac Company, jumped in on the ongoing hype about the rumored romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, launching it's first-ever lipstick product inspired by the rumored new couple.

"Introducing Fireball Cinnamon Delight RED Lipstick. Because every touchdown should taste like a championship parade. Limited-edition, details coming soon," Fireball Whisky said in a post on X.

What is known about the Sazerac Company?

Sazerac Company, Inc is a privately held American alcoholic beverage company. It is headquartered in Metairie in the metropolitan area of New Orleans, Louisiana, and has its principal office in Louisville, Kentucky.

The company is reportedly owned by billionaire William Goldring and his family and is known as one of the two largest spirits companies in the US.

According to the official website of the Sazerac Company, it was initially rooted in the Cognac business in France, which eventually led to the creation and popularity of coffee houses and bars in New Orleans, the Sazerac Cocktail, and ultimately to the Sazerac Company.

What did Fireball Cinnamon Whisky say about Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce inspired product?

A spokesperson for the Sazerac Company, which owns Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, opened up about it's Swift and Kelce inspired product while speaking to Fox Business.

"Fireball has a history of being the celebratory drink of choice for football players and fans alike, and we think this season's epic mash-up of football and pop culture is worthy of a little extra heat," Danny Suich, the global brand director for Fireball said.

"There are a lot of new football fans in the stands these days who may be looking for a bold way to support their favorite team or tight end with a spicy, RED new look, and, as always, Fireball is here to help," he continued.

"Because, in our opinion, every touchdown should taste like a championship parade," Suich added.

The limited edition product, named Fireball Cinnamon RED Delight Lipstick, reportedly picked the red color based on its significance in the 2023 NFL season.

While the rep did not mention Kelce's team while speaking about the product, red is considered to be one of the official colors of Kansas City Chiefs.

Moreover, 'Red' is also the title of Swift's fourth studio album as well as it's second promotional single. The pop star even went on The Red Tour from March 2013 to June 2014.

The company even hinted at Swift and Kelce's speculated romance in their pricing. The Fireball Cinnamon RED Delight Lipstick will reportedly be sold at $13.87 each, including numbers significant to the rumored couple.

While 13 has long been known as Swift's lucky number, 87 is number of Kelce's jersey. In addition, the Chiefs tight end appeared to be a Fireball fan himself.

A video of Kelce drinking a small bottle of Fireball at the Super Bowl Victory Parade in Kansas City went viral in February. His 'New Heights' podcast even shared the clip on X, writing, "Those cinnamon delights," another reference used in the name of lipstick.

The Sazerac Company spokesperson even gave a subtle nod to the rumored romance by mentioning that the lipstick could be worn to a championship parade or a football viewing party.

While speaking to Fox Business, the rep described the product as "the perfect statement to make if you find yourself wanting to be supportive of a certain team… or a new relationship."

What did the internet say about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce inspired lipstick?

While Swifties and fans of Kelce might be delighted with the new product, some social media users expressed their disappointment on brands attempting to cash on in the ongoing romance rumors between the pop star and the athlete.

"Please make it stop," one commented. "ENOUGH Already!" another wrote. "So dumb," one said. "Getting cheesy like Meghan and Harry," a fourth connected.

However, some fans were left impressed by the new product and its connection to Swift and Kelce's romance.

"So cool," one said. "I'm not seeing the connection, but I am seeing the romance," another added.
