LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alyssa Farah Griffin has officially finished her first season as a permanent co-host with ‘The View’. Griffin, who has previously worked as the White House Director of Strategic Communications and was Assistant to former President Donald Trump during his run, was made a permanent co-host on ‘The View’ for Season 26. Griffin gained recognition for being an outspoken and loyal Republican in her time on ‘The View’.
Griffin has been involved in several squabbles with her co-hosts, usually over politics, and has also given her viewers a glimpse into her marriage with her husband, Justin Griffin, and has often shown off her dog, Herbie. As the season finale of ‘The View’ aired, Griffin took to Instagram to officially announce the beginning of her summer break.
‘Heading into summer vacay’
Griffin posted a picture of herself from the set of ‘The View’ after the season finale aired. Griffin wrote, “Heading into summer vacay like,” adding a starry-eyed emoji in the caption as she smiled widely in the picture. Although Griffin’s return hasn’t been officially confirmed for Season 27 of ‘The View’, she will most likely be returning in September for the new season after being named a permanent co-host. Griffin was the replacement for Meghan McCain, as per The Hollywood Reporter. Fans have expressed their happiness about Griffin getting a “well-deserved vacation” and hope that she will be back on the panel in September. Until then, fans can keep up with Griffin through her socials, as well as her frequent guest appearances on CNN.

Fans have taken over Griffin's comment section as they hope she has a great summer before 'The View' returns. One fan commented, "Enjoy the time off! Congratulations on the first season, you're a wonderful addition to the show!" Fans commented about the vacation, stating, "Well deserved vacay! Stay strong when on The View! It's probably hard when Sonny constantly talks down to you," while another wrote, "Have a relaxing and well-deserved vacation, will miss all of you and look forward to September."
