LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Transgender star Dylan Mulvaney has received criticism repeatedly since her contentious Bud Light promotional campaign. The TikTok influencer has apparently been keeping a low profile despite moving forward in her life through interviews and social media videos. The 26-year-old was recently spotted walking around in Los Angeles collecting an outfit from local dry cleaners.

Mulvaney was seen exiting her residence on Saturday, May 27, while picking up her $800 Prada bikini top and a pink outfit from nearby dry cleaners. She was wearing a white crop top, white trousers, sunglasses, and a face mask in the photos obtained by Daily Mail. After that, she went to a Beverly Hills salon for laser hair removal, and later allegedly drove quickly away.

Mulvaney's public appearance comes after Anheuser Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, saw its market value drop by about $16 billion since the marketing initiative started on April 1. In contrast, its rivals have accumulated a market worth of $3.2 billion ahead of Memorial Day weekend, which is frequently observed with outdoor barbecues and booze.

Mulvaney acknowledged in a subsequent TikTok video that she hurried out of the salon before her laser hair removal appointment. She amassed an estimated $1.5 million fortune thanks to her enormous TikTok popularity, as she chronicled her transition from a man to a female. She has embarked on promotional roles for well-known companies including Charlotte Tilbury, MAC Cosmetics, Ulta, and Kate Spade, but she has gained greater notoriety for Bud Light. Mulvaney claimed in the video that the beer manufacturer was a partner in a campaign to promote her first year as a transgender woman; however, Anheuser Busch management has now disputed any collaboration, after initially claiming it was a concept of an external ad firm. Although it is still unknown whether Mulvaney made any money off of the video, on Saturday she appeared to flaunt her fortune by wearing a Prada bikini, which goes for $800, claimed Daily Mail.

After that, the social media icon returned to her white SUV to receive a laser hair removal procedure which typically costs $250 to completely remove all facial hair, $300 to remove hair from the legs, and $50 to remove hair from the underarms. It is unknown what kind of treatment Mulvaney was scheduled for. She then claimed in a TikTok video that she had left the salon because she had become tired of the paparazzi who had been following her, as cited by Daily Mail. She recalled getting back into her car and speeding through Beverly Hills' backroads in "full-on Fast and Furious" mode, saying she "felt like Liam Neeson" as she evaded the cameras. "Now I think might be addicted to drag racing, and not the RuPaul kind," she quipped.

Bud Light controversy

Mulvaney apparently has a fortune that doesn't seem to have been affected as badly as the company she associated with. Anheuser-Busch has suffered a $15.7 billion market value loss while still contending with the negative publicity over its collaboration with Mulvaney. As of the week ending May 6, according to JPMorgan beverage analyst Jared Dinges, sales of the Bud Light brand dropped by over 23 percent. He claimed that over the course of a year in the US, the bank anticipates a volume reduction of 12 to 13 per cent. "We believe there is a subset of American consumers who will not drink a Bud Light for the foreseeable future," the experts stated. He added, "Shares have underperformed EU Beer peers by 15% since the start of April. We believe this is due to US uncertainty, as investor focus has shifted squarely to the potential impact from the Bud Light controversy," as per Daily Mail.
