'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9: Where is Justin now? Dr Sandra Lee removes 3 squishy 'gumball' like bumps from patient's head

UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: The season finale of 'Dr Pimple Popper' featured a patient called Justin who had "bumps" on his head that he said kept growing "bigger and bigger" after he first saw them years ago. Dr Sandra Lee, on the other hand, struggled to treat the many cysts without interfering with the patient's hair.

In the most recent episode of 'Dr Pimple Popper', a patient came to see Dr Lee about "bumps" on his head, which he claims he had to hide since they kept getting "bigger and bigger".

The reality television series follows dermatologist Dr Sandra Lee in her Upland, California practice called Skin Physicians & Surgeons. The TLC show returned earlier this year for its ninth season, which ended on Wednesday, August 23.

A number of patients were previously featured in the most recent season, and the season finale introduced viewers to many more. This included Justin, who is said to have gone to the clinic for a couple of bumps on his head.

Who is Justin on 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9?

Fans got a glimpse at the case on the latest episode of 'Dr Pimple Popper,' which showed Justin explaining his experience as well as footage of the pimples themselves. "So I have three different bumps," Justin explained. "And all three of them are kinda different in a way. The one on the side of the head is a little squishier. The ones that are on the top are a little harder. They're really similar to gumballs to me."

Further explaining the matter, the patient stated that the bumps had been bothering him for more than five years. "So I've had these bumps for about seven years now, and when they first popped up, I didn't really think anything of them," Justin explained.

He said that the bumps became larger with time. He added in the episode, "They just felt like maybe ingrown hairs or something, but then they just gradually got bigger and bigger, to the point where I just had to hide them constantly."

What happened to Justin on 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9?

What could be more entertaining than witnessing Dr Pimple Popper remove a massive pilar cyst from the top of a patient's head? How about watching Dr Pimple Popper remove three massive pilar cysts from a patient's head?

Dr Lee, nicknamed Dr Pimple Popper, dermatologist, and TLC star, targets two massive "twin peak" pilar cysts, plus a third, in her latest episode. What comes out of each of them has an egg-like quality to it, but in very different ways. The contents of the first are like a hard-boiled white egg; the contents of the second resemble yolk; and the contents of the third...well, they're like an egg striking the wall and exploding all over the place.

A pilar cyst, also known as a wen, a trichilemmal cyst, or an isthmus-catagen cyst, is a mass that forms around a hair follicle, which is why they are typically found on the top of the head. They normally emerge in adults between the ages of 45 and 65, and can grow extremely slowly, which is why some individuals are unaware they have them until they are, well, egg-sized.

Justin looks fresh after cyst removal on 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9

As long as he left it for years, Justin was more devoted to his hair than to getting the cysts removed. Dr Lee exhaled a breath of relief after removing the triangle of cysts from his head. During his update, he and his girlfriend, Alyssa, appeared to be quite happy.

Who is Dr Sandra Lee?

Dr Sandra Lee was doing her cosmetic dermatology practice out of her Upland, California, clinic before she became a viral phenomenon. Despite having a reality show, a busy YouTube channel, a book, and a skin-care company, Dr Lee continues to treat normal patients — not only the occasional mystery cases that make it to TV, but also hundreds of others.

Season 10 of 'Dr Pimple Popper' is yet to be confirmed.
