HAZELHURST, GEORGIA: Speculation is brewing about '90 Day Fiance' star Michael Ilesanmi finally making it to the United States. Angela Deem recently shared an affectionate photo with her husband Michael, set to the song 'Don't Matter' by Akon, on her Instagram.
This latest social media post has fueled rumors that Michael may have obtained his K-1 US visa and reunited with his wife. However, both Angela and Michael have yet to officially confirm whether Michael's visa was approved or if Angela traveled to Nigeria to meet him.
The visa application process for entry into the US can be challenging, particularly for individuals from certain countries, and Michael, who is from Nigeria, has faced difficulties in this process over the past few years.
According to reports, the US government is on 'high alert' when they receive Nigerian applications because the area is known for fraud. Multiple other factors have also prevented Michael from getting the visa.
The criminal records of both parties were reviewed and Angela had a DUI last year. Meanwhile, social media users were left stunned when they saw Angela and Michael together.
An Instagram user commented on Angela's post, "No we’ve been waiting years to see you two together. where is his visa!!" Another person added, "Oh wow! Is he in the US with you? I hope so."
Another user said, "Is Michael here?" Another follower wrote, "Wow, this is awesome! You look so happy Angela. Did Michael get his Visa?"
Another fan penned, "Well I don't know why Michael is not in the US yet either on fiancée or spousal visa, they've been doing this long before I even started dating my man and now am few months away from perfecting it all as my visa is approved, what's going on with theirs and why the delay fact that it's all over TV for everyone to see."
How to apply for a K-1 US visa?
To apply for a K-1 visa, the foreign partner must live outside of the United States, be legally free and able to marry, and have met the US citizen partner in person within the last two years. Both of the partners also not have been convicted of serious crimes.
According to USCIS, for applying for a K-1 US visa, one has to first file Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiance(e), with the USCIS office that serves the area where you live. After USCIS approves the petition, it will be sent to the National Visa Center (NVC).
The NVC will provide a case number and send the petition to the US Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives. Then the candidate will receive a letter from NVC for the interview.
Angela Deem accuses Michael Ilesanmi of cheating 'virtually'
Angela Deem accused her husband Michael Ilesanmi of having a virtual affair when his costars video called him from a strip club in the latest episode of the TLC spinoff show, '90 Day: The Last Resort'.
Big Ed Brown, Jovi Dufren, and Asuelu Pulaa went to a strip club and made sure to include Michael in the boys' night out and they FaceTime him. However, Michael had no interest in participating in the call and said strip clubs are 'not my thing.'
Michael added he was still trying to fix his marriage with Angela before he ended the call. The group quickly called him back, though he proved he wouldn't cave and hung up.
Soon after the FaceTime, Michael called Angela and told her that Jovi had called him from the strip club. Angela showed her approval and said she was proud he hung up.
Michael then told his wife that Jovi called him a second time, which Angela became upset with and hung up the phone before Michael could explain the situation.
While Michael called Angela back in an attempt to elaborate, she made it clear she wasn't willing to hear him out.
She admitted in the confession, "I just had Michael cheat on me virtually," adding that she had divorce papers on hand in case situations like these happened.
