LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: When it came to his role in 'Red 2', Bruce Willis has no qualms about kissing and telling. At a press conference in 2013, the 68-year-old spoke about the romantic scenes in the movie and was stoked about getting to kiss two women. However, he had to speak to a very important person in his life first.
Willis has had a very successful acting career and still holds the tag of being one of Hollywood's biggest action stars. After he was diagnosed with dementia, he stepped down from acting. He is receiving support from not just his wife Emma Heming, but ex-wife Demi Moore and their children as well

'It’s right here in the script'
Willis' last notable movie, 'Red 2', was a lot of fun to film. However, he had to run a few sequences by Heming first. He was open to kissing his co-stars only after getting his wife's permission.
In an interview, Willis discussed several topics related to the movie. He described a sequence where he had to kiss Marie-Louis Parker and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Although it was just a part of his job, he told the Christian Post that before he did it, he informed Heming. He reportedly said, "I will say, ‘Look honey, it’s right here in the script. It says, ‘Now Bruce kisses Mary-Louise Parker. Now Bruce kisses Catherine Zeta-Jones."
However, Willis said no when he was asked to kiss another co-star, John Malkovich, in the movie. He reportedly said, "They were trying to get me to kiss John Malkovich in this film because he is in a dress, but I said no because I wasn't feeling it," per The Things.
Bruce Willis' sobering diagnosis
As MEAWW had reported earlier, Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. In the three years before his retirement, Willis produced 22 'Geezer-Teaser' movies, but people who observed how much trouble he had on sets, spoke out.
Willis allegedly misfired weapons while filming. As his symptoms worsened, he regularly required someone to give him his lines through a earpiece. The actor retired in 2022 when he started losing his ability to communicate due to the illness.
Due to his health, Willis' management made sure he worked for no more than four hours a day and limited working to a maximum of two days. According to the Los Angeles Times, the majority of action scenes, especially those involving the use of fake guns, were filmed with a body double.
