LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Just after Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account after sharing weird posts, her fans got confused regarding whether the singer is in control of her social media and her life. A source revealed that she "remains traumatized". Following the termination of her 13-year conservatorship, Spears reconciled with Lynne Spears, her formerly estranged mother but not with her father, Jamie Spears.

"Britney remains traumatized by the restrictions of the conservatorship that Jamie put in place. Years of her life were stolen from her," an insider told a news outlet. Two months before the songwriter's conservatorship ended, Jamie who was the conservator of the estate was suspended from his role in September 2021, reported OK Magazine.

'She’s convinced that millions are unaccounted for'

The Grammy-winning singer who had a legal battle against her father and management team believes that apart from the alleged abuse, her money was stolen during the legal arrangement that controlled many aspects of her life. "She’s convinced that millions are unaccounted for," said the insider.

Spears' attorneys previously argued that during the conservatorship, $36 million of her money was siphoned. "But she knows that, unlike her father, her mother wants what’s best for her, and that’s why she let Lynne back into her life after all these years," the source added, according to the media outlet.

Spears and her mother reconciled years after their public feud

Spears and her mother got back on good terms after their public feud that went on for years. In May, Lynne flew into LAX to visit her 41-year-old daughter after three years. "My sweet mama showed up at my doorstep yesterday after three years… with family, there are always things that need to be worked out. After being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things right!" the 'Toxic' singer wrote on her Instagram.

Lynne publicly sought forgiveness as she apologized for any "pain" her daughter endured during the years-long conservatorship. She also wanted to talk to Spears in person and begged her to unblock. Months later, the pop star reconciled with her mother. She previously accused her mother of exploiting her by pretending like a model parent and despite knowing about the conservatorship, she acted like she "had no idea what was going on," according to OK Magazine.
