BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: A woman who wanted more voluminous buttocks forced Dr Terry Dubrow to conduct a procedure he normally would not recommend.
However, Dr Dubrow worked his magic towards the end of 'Botched' Episode 17 to give Destiny the butt implant she desires.
Dr Dubrow and Dr Paul Nassif take on cases that would have been "too risky" for past seasons in Season 8 of the famous plastic surgery show.
With a show like 'Botched', it could be simple for viewers at home to doubt the credentials or skill of a plastic surgeon who performed some of the surgeries.
The doctors, however, are not appearing on television to defame patients or other medical professionals, as we can see in the episode.
One of the most difficult procedures was performed when Dr Dubrow did the unthinkable with Destiny's implant in front of the cameras.
Who is Destiny on 'Botched' Season 8?
Destiny became infected with a severe flesh-eating illness after having a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), which ate the tissue in her left cheek.
In the case of BBL, the two most common complications are the dreaded 'diaper booty', also known as a drooping derriere, which occurs when too much fat is put on the buttocks and the body can't keep it up, causing it to fall.
Even though Destiny underwent the BBL procedure, she seems to have realized how dangerous the surgery can be when they are botched.
What happened to Destiny on 'Botched' Season 8?
Destiny's sole choice, according to Dr Dubrow, was to opt for butt implants. However, he also stated that he would not suggest it in any other circumstance.
Dr Dubrow explains to the audience how sitting on a butt implant for an extended period of time might cause it to shift position, but he was entirely out of alternatives with Destiny.
However, in order to provide her with the body she desires, Dr Dubrow decides to perform the butt implant.
Dr Dubrow advises those who desire a larger butt to work out instead of going for a popular surgical procedure, which has a high possibility of killing you.
The 'Botched' surgeon claims that the BBL is the most risky procedure you can have in terms of mortality rate, and he explains why the fat transfer so frequently goes horribly wrong.
Even though the BBL technique has been available for a while, according to Dr Dubrow, people are not being adequately warned about the risks. This is despite numerous doctors pleading with the industry to increase the warning.
Where is Destiny from 'Botched' Season 8 now?
Destiny was fated to strive for the look she desired. Destiny's asymmetrical posterior was fixed by Dr Dubrow by transferring tissue from her lower back down into her buttocks.
By giving Dr Dubrow permission to add the butt implant, Destiny demonstrated her trust in him. It's wonderful that Destiny can enjoy her life again now that the BBL difficulties have been resolved!
'Botched' Season 8 airs new episodes every Thursday on E! at 10 pm ET.
