Best MLB prop bets today (Kodai Senga prop, NRFI bet to make on Saturday)

There's a full slate of baseball on Saturday to dive into, and I've targeted two games for my favorite prop plays of the day.

After hitting a NRFI bet on Thursday, I'm going back to the well with a play in the Tampa Bay Rays-San Diego Padres matchup.

Let's dive into the picks:

Best MLB prop bets today

  • Kodai Senga OVER 15.5 outs recorded (-135)
  • Tampa Bay Rays-San Diego Padres NRFI (-125)

Kodai Senga OVER 15.5 outs recorded (-135)

Senga has cleared this line in four of his last seven starts, and he's put together two seven-inning performances in that run.

Now, he's taking on a St. Louis Cardinals team that has lost six straight games and ranks 13th in runs scored this season.

I don't believe in this Cardinals team, and Senga has struggled with walks more than anything else this season. If he can limit those, I don't see why he doesn't work well into the sixth inning on Saturday.

Tampa Bay Rays-San Diego Padres NRFI (-125)

This is a pretty simple NRFI bet – even though it features the Rays' elite offense.

Padres lefty Blake Snell has been great lately, posting a 2.93 ERA since the start of May, allowing two or fewer runs in six of his last seven starts.

He and Zach Eflin (3.28 ERA) should be able to keep these offenses in check, and both players have ERAs of 3.00 or lower in the first inning this season.

It's not easy to fade the Rays offense, but I'll do it with Snell pitching so well.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
