BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Jelly Roll is among the performers set who took the stage during the Season 21 finale of 'American Idol'. As most viewers failed to recognize the country singer, others simply compared him to Post Malone for his face tats.
Jelly Roll is a name to watch in the country music scene these days, but that's not where he started. The 38-year-old Nashville native dabbled with rap and rock before making the switch to Country in 2021. He's been open about growing up in a middle-class neighborhood, suffering from addiction and alcoholism, and spending a dozen years in and out of jail. The singer is now dedicated to giving back to detained youngsters, donating $250,000 in October 2022 to create a recording studio at the Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center in Nashville.

'If Luke Combs and Post Malone had a kid'

Another quipped, "A jelly stuffed Post Malone apparently." Another person chimed in, "Looks like Post Malone ate too much jelly 🍇."
