Andrew Tate denies 'emotionally manipulating women' in heated BBC interview: 'Absolute garbage'

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate blatantly denied allegations of coercion and emotional manipulation in an extremely heated and hostile interview with the BBC. The influencer was defending his reputation against a slew of severe charges. Currently being investigated by Romanian prosecutors for rape, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation, Tate rejected the allegations during his first confrontational television interview with BBC.

When asked if the controversial influencer ever emotionally manipulated women, Tate vehemently denied the accusation, calling it "absolute garbage." Targeting the misogynistic statements Tate made on his website earlier, the interviewer talked about one particular statement — "My job was to meet a girl, go on few dates, sleep with her, get her to fall in love with me to the point she would do anything I say to get her on webcam so we could become rich together." Tate remained in denial mode and lashed out at the journalist.

Sophie is 'imaginary'

While grilling Tate, the interviewer mentioned that the team has spoken with "somebody" (Sophie) who claimed that Tate emotionally manipulates women for his financial gain. Sophie, who is now assisting Romanian prosecutors with the case, said she followed Tate to Romania because she thought he was in love with her. She also claimed that she was forced into doing webcam work and getting Tate's name tattooed on her body while there. Tate rebuffed Sophie's accusation, saying, BBC's claims are baseless. He accused the BBC of making things up just to send him to prison.

Tate further claimed that interviewer's statements are something she "found on the internet." He added, "It doesn't mean I've said it." He said he agreed to interview without conditions and dismissed testimonies as fake. He even went so far as to dismiss the woman named Sophie, who had recounted her terrible experience to the BBC, as "imaginary" and created by the media organization to have him arrested.

'How can I use these women?'

Tate is not new to controversial statement. He has made several inflammatory statements on his website in the past. Some of them are as follows:

"How can I use these women to make me money? I don’t wanna put them on the track because they’re my women, I don’t want other people touching my chicks."

"If you’re a 55 kilo female, I will pick you up with one hand, by your t**ty.”

“Females are the ultimate status symbol. People think I’m running around with these h**s because I like s*x. That’s nothing to do with the reason why I’m running around with these b***hes. I got these b***hes just so everyone knows who the don is.”

'“18 to 19-year-old women are more attractive than 25-year-olds because they’ve been through less d**k.”
