'AGT' Season 18: Viewers call out judges for saying yes to 'Baby Gaga' Zoe Erianna just because she's 6

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: "You are fearless," 'America's Got Talent' judge Simon Cowell said over six-year-old Zoe Erianna. However, not everyone was pleased, as viewers expressed their unhappiness at seeing small children compete on such a prestigious reality competition show.

Zoe's stunning rendition of a Lady Gaga hit on 'AGT' captivated the judges. The amazing quartet isn't easy to impress but 'Baby Gaga' had Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel smiled from ear to ear and gave her a four "Yes" votes.

'Born This Way'

Zoe sang a powerful and encouraging rendition of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way', a song about accepting oneself. She began slowly and quietly, gradually developing her vocals. As she said, "Hold your head up high" and "I was born this way," she emphasized the message by pointing straight at each Judge. They sat up and paid attention. Sofia jested, "Zoe, I am your favorite judge, and you’re one of my favorite contestants ever."

"I love your stage presence," Heidi remarked. I love how you flick your hair and how you talk to all the people. You’re pointing everywhere. Very well done."

Howie asked, "Do you like Lady Gaga?” he asked. She replied yes. “You’re like an adorable baby version of that — you’re Goo Goo Gaga."

Simon ended with "You are fearless, literally fearless. So brave, so talented, great voice. I love the fact you remembered all the hand movements. Every single person in this room loved this audition."

'Hate to see kids so young up there'

Speaking of the performer's age, one viewer tweeted, "I hate to see kids so young up there. We have already seen acts that we know she can't beat, so sooner or later she's going to have to get eliminated. And I just hate to see it for such a small child." Another chimed in, "Anyone who says they would pay $100 to sit and watch this kid sing for an hour is lying." One user further commented, "Nobody wants to go to Vegas to see screaming kids on stage." Some fans think, "When you're a small kid, you can pretty much get a yes for anything you do."

Slamming the show for letting little kids perform, one wrote, "Once again... Acts I refuse to care about on America's Got Talent are: Kids 10 years old & Under, Animal acts & most acts with 30+ people. So annoying." Questioning the judges' vote, one user tweeted, "Judges can’t say no she’s 6. Kinda lame." While another person noted, "I'm sure this will be unpopular, but WHO is really going to pay hundreds of dollars to watch a 6 year old sing Lady Ga Ga songs. It's just silly to vote her through." Another user asked, "...why would you put your 6 year old kid on national television??? Idk just let kids be kids and not put them on a show they probably won't win. And if they do, they can kiss their childhood goodbye."

'America's Got Talent' Season 18 airs new episodes every Tuesday on NBC at 8 pm ET.
